Labor Shortage In Textile Enterprises

There are more than 400 textile and garment enterprises in Jining. According to the investigation of relevant departments in Jining, as of the end of February this year, these enterprises are short of 12 thousand workers, forcing enterprises to abandon orders for 266, and the contract amount is about 190 million yuan. Wang De, Secretary General of the Jining textile and Garment Association, said the key point: "the textile and garment industry is a small profit industry. The working environment of the workers is poor, the working hours are long, and the wages are low. Therefore, job seeker is generally not popular with this job."

Phenomenon -- Don't worry about orders.

"Last year, when the financial crisis spread, our enterprises were worried about orders. Entering this year, orders are not lacking, and there is a shortage of workers." Miao Jian, chairman of Zoucheng Tiancheng dyeing and Weaving Co., Ltd., told reporters that at present, the loss of front-line workers in the textile industry is more serious. Their employment volume is about 650, and the labor gap has reached 30%. This year, no matter at home or abroad, the volume of orders has never been missing. We are all excellent and excellent. Considering the reputation, processing volume and price of customers, some orders that are not suitable for enterprises are directly pushed away. "It is not the money that is not earned, but the productivity is really limited."

Zhang Jin, director of human resources at Shandong Jinying Textile Co., Ltd., told reporters that at present, their enterprises also encountered difficulties in recruiting workers. "We do not worry about orders and sales, but the shortage of manpower has greatly restricted our production capacity."

In order to solve the problem of tight labor in the factory, director Zhang did not pay much attention. He published recruitment information through television stations, radio and road signs advertisements in the county, and went to Zouping, Dongping, Yuncheng, Wei Qiao and other places to recruit workers. He even started the whole factory to recruit workers, but the effect was not very good. Generally speaking, 10 people could leave 2 people. Because of the competition among peers, skilled workers are more difficult to recruit. In order to leave skilled workers in their factories, they provide them with very comfortable housing conditions, and they also provide subsidies. However, some private enterprises offer attractive salary, so they can easily "poach" these talents.

Why - Low intensity and low salary

"Poor working environment, long working hours and low wages." A staff member of Jining's human resources and labor department told reporters that this is the portrayal of textile workers' posts. This year, due to the gradual increase of orders from many textile and garment enterprises in Jining, the production line is running at full capacity. However, due to the huge labor gap, the existing textile workers are working overtime very often. The working time of the textile workers is basically over 10 hours a day, and they can not rest for a few days in a month. Moreover, the working environment is noisy, the treatment is not much higher than other industries, and many places are more than 1500 yuan per month, the lowest is about 1000 yuan per month.

At noon on 1 noon, a reporter interviewed several textile workers who had just finished their work at a textile factory on Taibai Lou road. Xiao Wang, a textile worker, told reporters that she thought her working environment was not very good, the machine noise was very big, and she kept staring at the rotating machine all day, and her eyes were very tired after 10 hours a day. Xiao Zeng, another textile worker, thought that the salary was too low. "Every month's salary plus bonus is also a thousand yuan, and it takes more than 20 days a month to work overtime. It's too hard, and the income is not directly proportional to the cost."

Miao Jian, chairman of Zoucheng Tiancheng dyeing and Weaving Co., Ltd., said that most of the female job seekers who were 18-25 years old and who had not received higher education were eating "youth meal". Generally speaking, they chose more service industries and sales industries, because compared with the textile industry, the workers in the city's sales and shopping malls had little labor intensity, the working environment was relatively comfortable, and the monthly income could also be around 1000 yuan. At the same time, with the acceleration of urbanization, many enterprises have settled down in rural areas and absorbed surplus labor locally. Many migrant workers will choose to work locally.

Countermeasures -- School enterprise cooperation ensures employment

"In the textile industry, the labor paid by the workers is not directly proportional to the remuneration they receive, which is a long-term structural contradiction in employment." Wang De, Secretary General of Jining textile and Garment Association, said that if we want to solve this problem, we should adjust the minimum wage standard according to the nature of the enterprise, and guide the development of the industry by means of macro control and policy guidance. In addition, to solve this problem from the source, we should also pay attention to the training of skilled workers. Local textile enterprises should cooperate with technical institutes and take order training, so as to ensure the continuous delivery of technical personnel for textile and garment enterprises.

Weishan new target Textile Co., Ltd. is a newly built textile manufacturer. It is expected that a total of 800 workers will be required this year. A series of work has been done ahead of time to prevent gaps in employment. Peng manager, who is in charge of human resources, told reporters that they trained 600 students in the Jining technician college and Weishan technical school by order form, and recruited more than 100 skilled workers by way of social recruitment. In addition, he was more competitive in salary and welfare than other peers, so he still had confidence in retaining workers.
