Foshan Garment Industrial Park Will Achieve An Industrial Output Value Of Over 500 Million

In April 1st, Foshan's largest knitted garment exporters invested 160 million yuan to build a garment industrial park in Yanling. The first phase of the project was successfully completed and a celebration ceremony was held. It is reported that the first phase of the project plans to export 10 million knitted garments annually, which will achieve an industrial output value of over 500 million yuan and the number of enterprises employing more than 2000 people.

According to the introduction, the garment industrial park is the first clothing production project introduced by Yanling County, and is also the first attempt of the county to develop the standard factory building industry. Invested by Foshan Everbright Garment Co., Ltd., the largest knitted garment exporters in Guangdong, Foshan, the project has invested RMB 160 million yuan, and the project covers an area of 150 mu.

The first phase of the project signed an investment contract in July 2009. It plans to produce 10 million knitted garments annually, and will achieve an industrial output value of over 500 million yuan after the completion of the production. More than 2000 people will be employed. The second phase project signed investment contracts in March this year. According to the construction of 30 thousand square meters standard workshop, after the implementation of the two phase project, more than 10 small and medium-sized garment enterprises can be absorbed into the park.

After the smooth landing of Foshan Zhuzhou Guangda Garments Co., Ltd., Yanling textile and garment enterprises have reached 12, accounting for 40% of the industrial park's economic ratio, indicating that the county has made a major breakthrough in building the largest cotton textile industrial base in Hunan province.
