AOKANG Combines The Whole Industry Chain To Build Green Low Carbon Enterprises

In December 27th, "green Zhejiang" needs a number of green ways to save energy and reduce emissions.

It is reported that the first "green low carbon economy pacesetter enterprise" selection campaign launched in Zhejiang in September 1st this year has been strongly supported by the provincial administrative departments, and the provincial leaders and the provincial environmental protection department have served as guidance units, and the relevant leaders have been consultancies.

The Accreditation Committee consists of 17 experts, namely, the guiding unit, the sponsor unit, the relevant leaders of the Provincial Social Science Federation, and the famous experts and scholars in the field of energy, ecology, low carbon and environmental protection.

After careful review and secret ballot by all the judges, we selected 50 first batch of "green low carbon economy pacesetter enterprises" from 80 selected enterprises.

These 50 enterprises cover industries such as manufacturing, energy, mining, pportation, construction, real estate, finance, commerce, information, tourism and service industries in our province.

"Energy conservation and emission reduction and the development of low-carbon economy are the basis for long-term interests of enterprises and society.

From its early stage, AOKANG has made efforts to build itself into a green enterprise with high utilization of resources, clean environment and remarkable economic benefits.

Wang Zhentao, chairman of Zhejiang AOKANG footwear Limited by Share Ltd, told reporters that AOKANG has saved 2 million 182 thousand kWh a year and converted 268.15 tons of standard coal to the company through a series of energy saving and emission reduction measures such as energy-saving lamp pformation and oven pformation. It has created 3 million 128 thousand yuan economic benefits for the company, and has also increased the awareness of energy saving.

In June 2010, AOKANG convened a supplier conference to convene upstream suppliers to discuss how to reduce pollution from the source, promote green production and green procurement, and distribute AOKANG's "green procurement criteria for shoe materials" to upstream suppliers, and jointly build a green low-carbon enterprise with the whole industry chain.
