Reporters learned that, after the EU ended the anti-dumping duty on leather shoes, some old shoe makers in Italy and Spain are still actively engaged in the application of the petition.
According to the insiders, the shoemaking industry in our city is at the bottom of the international division of labor. At present, it only stays at the "processing factory" stage with low added value, earning low processing fees, and exporting mostly by OEM. The proportion of middle and high grade shoes and private brands is very small.

Some shoe makers in Shaoxing are producing domestic brands such as PEAK, XTEP, Hongxing Erke and so on. The export price of each pair of shoes is five or six times higher than that of the brand without shoes.
