Vietnam And Japan Will Trade More Than 16 Billion Dollars This Year.

According to Yue Tong news agency reported on August 28th, according to the current speed of trade development between Vietnam and Japan, the trade volume between the two countries will reach 16 billion 200 million US dollars in 2008, 2 years ahead of the two countries' goal of bilateral trade volume of 15 billion dollars in 2010.

Reported that as of June this year, Vietnam bilateral trade volume has reached 8 billion 100 million U.S. dollars, an increase of 45% over the same period last year.

Among them, Vietnam exported 4 billion 200 million US dollars to Japan, an increase of 41.7%, an import of 3 billion 900 million US dollars to Japan, an increase of 49.8%, and a surplus of US $351 million over the Japanese trade.

Vietnam's business representative in Japan said that Vietnam's rapid export to Japan was due to Vietnam's increasing export of crude oil to Japan.

In addition, exports of coal, coffee, footwear, cables and other major commodities to Japan also increased rapidly.

Vietnam will open up new products for export to Japan, such as organic fertilizer, power equipment, daily lamps, daily necessities, processed foods and poultry meat products, the report said.
