The Hui Autonomous County listed the fur trade as one of the three "enriching the people" industries, formulated preferential policies, worked hard to strengthen the fur trade and trafficking industry, promoted the pformation and upgrading of industries, increased the income of farmers, and promoted the development of ethnic areas.
Up to now, the county has developed 502 fur processing households, 2261 fur traffickers, and 6 fur processing leading enterprises, and has standardized 43 fur warehouses and about 1900000 leather goods.
