Xu Huafeng, vice president and Secretary General of China Health Care Association, introduced that in 2005, the association formulated the industry's only standard "health functional textiles cas115-2005", which has played a role in standardizing and purifying the market to a certain extent. However, some illegal enterprises take advantage of the fact that consumers can not directly identify the authenticity of health-care functional textiles through appearance and lack of scientific and standardized propaganda language, It is still carrying out the exaggerated propaganda of "treating all kinds of diseases" and even selling fake and shoddy products.
The introduction of industry standard terms clearly defines the possible slogans, such as "raising the temperature of wearing parts, improving the cold condition of hands and feet" and "helping to improve sleep quality", but it is required to prohibit the use of exaggerated propaganda terms such as "treating diseases".
According to cas115-2005, only far infrared health care functional textiles, magnetic health care functional textiles and antibacterial health care functional textiles have been standardized.
"Enterprises claim that other health care functions, such as the common pregnant women's clothing on the market to publicize radiation protection and other functions, are all enterprises' independent behaviors," Dong Guoyong said.
