The construction of enterprise incentive mechanism is not a topic of concern.

After the middle of 90s twentieth Century, there was an upsurge in learning organization construction in China, but few people associated it with the construction of enterprise incentive mechanism.

To build a learning organization, we must first establish and perfect the incentive mechanism for enterprises.

The core mechanism of learning organization is enterprise incentive mechanism.

Incentive mechanism and learning mechanism can be said to be different expressions of the same concept.


Skinner, an American psychologist, did an experiment.

This experiment proves that the problem of animal learning is also an incentive problem for animal behavior.


Skinner fixed a thin stick with a fulcrum in a box, and pulled the short head of the stick with a spring. The short head of the stick was connected with a string. The string was changed by a pulley and connected with the top of the box, and the top of the box had a hole.

When the stick was pressed down, the string attached to the short end of the stick would open the top of the box and drop the beans.

A rat was put in the box to carry out the experiment.


When the rat pulls down the long head of the stick, it drops beans.

Through repeated experiments, the rats discovered the link between the baton and the bean drop.

When it needs beans for starvation, it will autonomously repeat the pressure on the stick.


When the connection between the baton and the pea was firmly established in the rat's brain, the rat was put into another box.

There is also a thin stick in the box, but the short head of the stick is no longer connected with the mouth that can drop beans at the top, but is connected to the switch of an electric whip.

When the mouse just came in, it still pressed the stick to find beans.

But it does not get beans, but whips.

It is somewhat doubting, but will still press this stick repeatedly, but every time it hits a whip.

After many times, it will never touch the stick again.


Here, Skinner thinks that bean dropping is a positive reinforcement on Rats' behavior, and whipping is a negative reinforcement.

It is being reinforced that it keeps repeating the action of the stick and strengthening it to avoid the action of the stick.

The process of strengthening its behavior is learning.


The incentive mechanism is actually induced by Skinner box experiment.

Through positive reinforcement - Haier is called positive incentive - to induce employees to do things encouraged by enterprises; through negative reinforcement - Haier is called negative incentives - to stop employees from doing business.

This is to associate the employees' Willpower behavior with the employees' desire and satisfaction, and to associate the employee's willpower that the enterprise wants to avoid with the deprivation of the personal interests and desires that the employee does not want to meet.

When this relationship becomes a stable and close connection, the employees' willpower and behavior are closely related to the specific consequences, which forces employees to act according to the way they want to act.


This is the construction of enterprise incentive mechanism.
