Shanghai held World Expo in 2010. I am very happy to be a medical worker who has lived and worked in Shanghai for more than 60 years.

In {page_break}1946, I returned to Tongji University in Shanghai. I was assigned to the East China Medical College, the predecessor of Erjun University in July 1949.

Over the past more than 60 years, great changes have taken place in Shanghai, especially in the past twenty years.

I have been working and living in the Wujiaochang area of Jiangwan. In the past, because of the remote location, I was backward in the appearance of the city, and Commerce and pportation were not very convenient.

Nowadays, around Wujiaochang, modern buildings are built, traffic is convenient and business is growing.

What is worth mentioning is that the scale of universities such as Fudan, Tongji and second military university has been expanding. Not only the hardware of school buildings, equipment, etc. is getting better and better, but also the level of science and technology teaching and the level of talent gathering have reached a new height.

As a veteran of the medical front, I am also pleased to see that the level of medical care in Shanghai has been rising.

Take the Dongfang Hepatobiliary Hospital, regardless of resources or technology, can be regarded as a leader in the country. Many international colleagues have highly praised the world's advanced level.

I am very proud of this.

Shanghai holding World Expo, I think it is a rare opportunity to further enhance the level of Shanghai's urban development.

In today's daily life, there are always a lot of uncivilized and unhygienic phenomena. For example, the medicine, the number and the housing are sometimes very rampant, which affect the normal medical order.

In addition, road construction can not keep up with the increase of traffic flow and traffic congestion. The greening and environmental hygiene of the whole city are also quite different from those of the developed cities.

With the approaching of World Expo, many departments and volunteers have made great efforts to rectify order and clean the environment, and the city is improving.

I hope that through the greeting of World Expo and the holding of World Expo, a long-term urban management mechanism can be formed to make our urban life more civilized and orderly.

In World Expo, I will show a great deal of scientific and technological achievements, including medical technology, as well as a life style full of exotic customs and modern environmental protection concepts all over the world.

I think the crystallization of these beauty and wisdom, on the one hand, will arouse everyone's vision of the future. On the one hand, it will encourage us to work hard to bring World Expo's "ideal city" into reality at an early date.

To make life better, medical service is a very important aspect.

Although the level of medical care in Shanghai has been improving continuously in recent years, there is no need to avoid the fact that it is still very difficult for ordinary people to see a doctor and see a doctor.

How to alleviate it? For example, many patients feel that it is difficult to hook up an expert number. This requires the establishment of a public interest expert appointment platform, which not only reduces the queue length but also increases the burden on patients.

Another example is that the performance of expensive medical institutions is a small number of medical institutions charging excessively, especially over inspection and over treatment, which aggravates the burden of patients.

To solve these two problems, I think the first thing is to standardize the process of diagnosis and treatment, improve the level of diagnosis and treatment, and at the same time raise the general knowledge of ordinary people and strengthen effective supervision and management.

In order to achieve the healthy development of medical and health care, we need to increase investment in health care.

This year's health care reform plan put forward the direction of reform. I hope that the health care reform measures can be landed at an early date, so that the public hospitals will be surnamed "public" again.

World Expo is not only a display of civilization, but also a driving force for the development of civilization.

Sincerely hope that World Expo will be a complete success!
