On June 28, the Brunei Pavilion held the opening ribbon cutting ceremony of "Brunei Tourism Week", attended by Sheikh Jamaluddin Sheikh Mohamed, CEO of Brunei Tourism Bureau.


Brunei is located on the north coast of Borneo Island in Southeast Asia. It is famous for its rich oil and is known as an "unexpected treasure". Sudan Palace, Golden Dome Mosque, primitive tropical rainforest and a wide range of wild animals, these unique landscapes of Brunei, are displayed in the Brunei Pavilion in a variety of ways, such as touch screens and pictures. At the same time, the 4D cinema in the museum also shows the colorful features of Brunei through video, sound, wind and rain. At the exit of the exhibition hall, there are local food for tourists to taste, as well as Brunei's unique hand woven display.


The "Brunei Tourism Week" will last from today to July 2. In addition to introducing local tourism features in the Brunei Pavilion, two traditional dance performances will be held every day from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and from 16:00 p.m. to 17:00 p.m. At that time, dancers in golden national costumes will dance to the accompaniment of drum music, bringing different Malay customs.


Brunei Pavilion is located in Area B of the Expo Park. The pavilion will take the tropical rainforest as the main exhibition item at the entrance to show Brunei's unique natural environment. The main body of the pavilion is represented by a revolving characteristic pattern. Its rising space and vertical shape symbolize the gradual improvement of Brunei people's living standards, reflect Brunei's ambition to develop economy, expand people's skills, improve the quality of life, and show its efforts to protect the natural environment, enrich heritage and profound traditions.
