The idea is to eliminate waste of thousands of tons of cloth thrown away every year by using a large amount of cloth that will not be wasted.

Parsons the New School for Design will launch a course of "zero waste" design.

The Shaping Sustainable Fashion:Changing the Way We Make Make will be published by Alison Gwilt and Timo Rissanen two "zero waste" pioneer designers in February next year.

In addition, the exhibition of "zero waste" will also be held in New Zealand and New York.

The "zero waste" trend has also spread to the United States for a period of time. It first started in Mark Liu, Julian Roberts, Zandra Rhodes in the United Kingdom, and then developed to Susan Dimasi and Chantal Kirby in Australia, and Mcquillan in New Zealand.

One of the ways to eliminate waste is jigsaw style cuts, and some just put the whole cloth on the mannequin, then fold and stack.
