Jizhou is one of the top 100 cotton producing counties in China. The cotton planting area in Nangong, Weixian County, Xinji, Shenzhou and other counties within 60 kilometers of the surrounding area is over 3 million mu, which is one of the most concentrated areas of cotton cultivation in the mainland of China, and its resource advantages are very obvious.

There are more than 100 new cotton processing enterprises around the project, the annual processing capacity is more than 40 tons, and the pportation distance is not far more than 50 kilometers. As the center of the main cotton producing area, storage companies have strong resource advantages and regional advantages.

At the same time, Jizhou is also the closest city from Beijing, Tianjin, Shi, Ji, Taiyuan and Zhengzhou to the 6 major urban agglomerations.

Hengtong cotton storage project was formally signed in Beijing in December 2009, and was included in the key construction plan in 2010.

The total investment of the project is 500 million yuan, covering an area of 316 mu, mainly based on the construction of cotton storage, which integrates cotton spot inspection, supervision, processing, logistics and distribution as one.

Among them, there are a total of 25 50 storehouses in the lint storage warehouse, with a total area of 50 thousand square meters, 200 thousand tons of lint storage capacity, 60 thousand square meters of bulk stacks, and 100 thousand tons of lint storage capacity.

It is understood that the project has a storage capacity of 300 thousand tons, annual sales income of 5 billion yuan, profits and taxes of 250 million yuan, will become the national cotton reserve warehouse and China's cotton trading market and cotton futures trading market delivery warehouse, in line with the cotton quality inspection system reform, become the new body cotton supervision warehouse, and for the local cotton processing enterprises to build.
