The Forum on "REACH regulations and finished products (footwear)" was held.

At the forum, Zhu Ju Sheng, marketing manager of China leather products professional technology center, who is involved in the formulation of the EU footwear industry standard, said that the content of EU REACH regulations may increase in the near future. The authorized substances to the end of the year increase from the original 38 to 49, which means that the total volume of authorized substances that export shoe manufacturers export to Europe can not exceed 0.1%.

In this regard, Zhu Rusheng reminded the vast majority of shoe manufacturers to export to the EU. We should pay attention to two points in dealing with the following measures. First, we should pay attention to the establishment of a traceability system when purchasing raw materials, and find out problems that can be found in time. Two, it is best to test the product samples with professional international authorities and obtain their suggestions and opinions.
