Korean Consumer Price Survey Adds 19 Items, Such As Children'S Clothing.

The South Korean government plans to analyze and publish the reasons for the spread of domestic and foreign consumer goods by the end of November, with a view to promoting price reduction of products that are more expensive than international prices.

Since 2008, the Korea Fair Trade Commission has launched a price difference survey on canned beer, nutritional cream, gasoline, diesel oil, liquid natural gas (LPG), household cleaners, dim sum cookies, milk, comprehensive vitamins, orange juice and coffee shop coffee. The plan has been increased to 30 this year. But in January President Lee Myung-bak stressed at the national conference that if people's daily necessities are more expensive than international prices, they should develop countermeasures to adjust supply and demand and reduce prices, so this year the survey will increase to 48 items. 11.

This year's new survey includes entertainment items, digital cameras, LCD and LED TV, mineral water, ice cream, cheese, chocolates, disposable soft contact lenses, digital sphygmomanometer, allergic skin cream, children's clothing, baby carriages and other 19 new consumer products and flour, instant noodles, bread, beef, pork, onion, garlic, edible oil, eggs, sugar and other 18 necessities.
