The successful completion of the work can not be separated from the hard work of the workers after opening.

A short 9 day fashion show requires more than 10 days and 9 days to complete.

It is these more than 100 days of preparation, planning, liaison, schedule and adjustment that make every publication accurate to the hour before there is another wonderful fashion feast.

To this end, China has been interviewed.

international

Secretary General of Fashion Week Organizing Committee, director general of Fashion Art Committee of China Fashion Designers Association

Yang Jian

Listen to him about the story behind the fashion week.

For this fashion week, Yang Jian believes that cross-border cooperation has become popular, reflecting the creativity, times and culture of fashion week.

Designer brands are becoming mainstream, especially for men's brands.

In addition, e-commerce has set off an upsurge in the clothing industry.

Since the first China Fashion Week in 1997, Yang Jian has been involved in the preparations for the fashion week.

From the beginning of a specific task, and then to the contents of the growing, until 2008, he began to take full responsibility for the entire preparatory work of the fashion week.

"All of these are my work, including the initial declaration, liaison, schedule and plan of the whole activity."

Yang Jian told reporters in detail, "when fashion week comes to the registration stage, it is necessary to check the qualification of the registration enterprise through the relevant business license, trademark registration certificate and brand building history.

Next is the schedule for the enterprise release show.

In short, cooperation with publishing agencies needs to be run in many times. It is very important to have a good grasp of the principles and standards of fashion week.

"In order to enable more brands and designers to participate in the fashion week, it was held for 11 days in 2007. As a result, all the participants were exhausted, especially during the fashion week.

In 2008, China International Fashion Week Organizing Committee put forward that the fashion week should raise the threshold, pay attention to the quality of publication, and not pursue the quantity of publication.

Since then, the organizing committee has not extended the number of days of fashion week to ensure the quality of the brand. This is also a measure that must be taken for the long-term development of fashion week.

At present, each fashion week usually does not exceed 9 days, and the number of releases is about 45.

Scheduling an agenda is a complicated process.

According to Yang Jian, there is no special regularity in choosing the time to issue the brands. According to the process, they are: declaration, submission of materials, intention to announce the time and venue (currently the venue is located in the 798 Art District of Beijing D PARK PARK club and Beijing Hotel two venues).

After the deadline for registration, the organizing committee will try to meet everyone's first choice according to the schedule of registration. If not, there are second or third choices.

"If a number of publishing organizations choose to publish at the same place and at the same time, the organizing committee needs to carry out a lot of detailed coordination work, and eventually reach a consensus through continuous communication.

Scheduling work is like a complex system engineering, which not only meets the needs of everyone, but also makes the effective time of daily use be fully and reasonably used, making nearly 100 kinds of activities during the fashion week not conflict.

Yang Jian told reporters.

In addition to the schedule, every link must be strictly controlled.

Yang Jian told reporters on textile and clothing weekly: "in order to ensure the safety and quality of the production of the fashion week, the organizing committee has appointed the company that has the production capacity and rich experience to cooperate with the participating enterprises in responsible for the production of the main venue (Beijing Hotel and D PARK Beijing Club).

In addition to the arrangement of some hardware equipment, the deployment of the organizing committee is also a key step during the fashion week.

In such a large-scale activity, more than 40 staff members of various departments of the organizing committee are unable to meet the needs of the fashion week.

"The staff members of the organizing committee are far from enough for the whole fashion week, so we will temporarily recruit some foreign personnel to help us, such as students from fashion colleges."

Yang Jian said, "the construction of the organizing committee is very important. Of course, we also hope that more professionals will join us, so that we can provide better and better services for the publishing bodies and cooperative sponsoring institutions, so that more designers can walk onto this platform."

Investment is already in progress.

"Now we are doing some finishing work for this fashion week. The fashion week of March will begin to sign up again.

No, the phone call just now is for consultation.

Yang Jian, who has just concluded a telephone call, said that the registration of the 2011/2012 autumn winter series of China International Fashion Week has been launched.

He said that every year in December, the next year's two fashion week registration procedures and requirements and other information was announced. According to the regulations, the fashion week special release needs 60 days in advance. Therefore, every year before January 25th is the March fashion week registration deadline, August 25th will complete the October Fashion Week registration.

"Now, China International Fashion Week has gone through 14 years, from its first 4 sessions to more than 40 now, which is inseparable from the development of the industry and the efforts of the organizing committee."

Yang Jian said that fashion week can be divided into three stages: the first stage, that is, the first 10 years are the initial stage; the second 10 year is the development stage; we are at this stage, and the organizational management needs to be perfected continuously.

The third 10 years will enter a mature and stable stage of development.

When it comes to the future of fashion week, Yang Jian is full of confidence.

"I believe China International Fashion Week will be more and more mature, and its popularity and influence will be bigger and bigger."

Yang Jian said, "with China's strong market, rapid economic development and the continuous growth of per capita GDP, China's fashion industry will get greater development. At the same time, we also need to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with our international counterparts to promote the development of fashion week."
