As a matter of fact, in 2010, the most difficult problem that restricts the development of the clothing industry is "recruitment difficulty." although the situation in Shandong is better than that in the southern provinces, the turnover rate of garment workers is also generally 10%-20%.


Yesterday, Shandong clothing "12th Five-Year" industrial upgrading and development peak forum held in Ji'nan, Liu Jianguo, vice president of the provincial Clothing Industry Association, the first 10 months of this year, the Shandong garment enterprises produced 2 billion 863 million clothing products, up 21.02%, expected to reach 3 billion 400 million pieces of production year.

The increase in production also contributed to the growth of sales revenue. In the first 10 months of this year, the clothing enterprises in the province achieved sales revenue of 138 billion 182 million yuan, an increase of 22.61% over the same period, and the annual sales revenue is expected to exceed 160 billion yuan.


The most serious problem is still "recruitment difficulties".

According to the data quoted by the provincial Clothing Industry Association, in 2010, due to the high labor shortage in the national garment industry, the overall operating rate of the coastal areas reached only 70%. Many large enterprises also reduced their operating rate to 80% due to labor shortage and rising labor costs, while increasing the proportion of outsourcing processing, and small and medium-sized enterprises with around 50% of the operating rate were everywhere.

In terms of recruitment difficulties, Shandong is better than other coastal provinces, but the turnover rate of workers is generally around 10%-20%.


Du Xinsheng, Secretary of the Party committee of Ho Sheng, also told reporters that Chairman Wang Jianzhong had been digging "people" everywhere through his friends network.

"On the one hand, we are short of people. On the other hand, many college students are unable to find jobs."

Du Xinsheng said that ho Sheng and a silk textile vocational school in Zibo hit it off and became the practice base of the school. Next year, 23 students will remain in the market.
