Cotton Production Controlled By Slow Release Chemical Fertilizer In Cotton Growing Area Along The Yangtze River

Because of the long growing period of cotton, 4 to 5 times of fertilization is usually applied from sowing to harvesting. The controlled release fertilizer developed by the Hefei Institute of materials of the Chinese Academy of Sciences requires only one basal fertilizer and one top dressing, and the yield is increased by about 10%.

The experimental demonstration project meeting was informed that controlled slow release fertilizer has been in our province.

The application achieved good economic and environmental benefits.

In recent years, two major problems have plagued the cotton growing areas along the Yangtze River.

Cotton production

The first is the same output level. Compared with the previous years, the input of chemical fertilizer increased by 30%, and increased year by year. Fertilizer input accounted for more than half of the cost of cotton. Two, the growth period of cotton was long, before and after fertilization 4 times to 5 times.

In 2010, the Hefei Institute of materials of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) demonstrated slow release fertilizers in the more than 20 thousand acres of cotton fields in Wangjiang, Susong, Wuwei, Xuanzhou and other places. The results showed that controlled slow release fertilizers solved the problems of large amount of conventional fertilizer, more fertilizer times and higher difficulty of late fertilization in cotton production. Not only did the yield increase by about 10%, but also the cost of labor per mu was reduced by 160 yuan.

Controlled release fertilizer is a new type of fertilizer that can slow down or control the release rate of nutrients, representing the development direction of chemical fertilizers.

Wu Yuejin, a researcher at Hefei Institute of Physical Science.CAS, told reporters that the significance of controlled slow release fertilizers is not only to save money and increase efficiency, but also to reduce the loss of fertilizer nutrients, increase the utilization rate of fertilizers, and ultimately reduce the non-point source pollution of river water.

With the application of ordinary chemical fertilizer, the nitrogen absorbed by the farmland during the season has 50%~60% into the water and atmosphere, resulting in deterioration of water quality and hardening of the soil.

It is estimated that the average nutrient utilization rate of controlled slow release fertilizers increased by 11% to 22% than that of ordinary compound fertilizers. Among them, nitrogen utilization increased by 6 to 13 percentage points, phosphorus utilization increased 5 to 20 percentage points, and potassium utilization increased 21 to 32 percentage points. Its successful demonstration has found a new way to control agricultural non-point source pollution.

Under The Multiple Plight Of &Nbsp, The Shoe Shuffle Exhibition Is Coming To The Age Of Big Shuffle.

January 10th is another end of the year, and China's shoe industry is facing unprecedented challenges. Under the impact of factors such as labor shortage, rising prices of raw materials, appreciation of the renminbi and accelerated pace of industrial transfer, many factors have not only brought instability to the shoe sales industry, but also an embarrassing role for the survival and development of the footwear industry.
