The government of India adopted the technology of ditto for shipment. He said that India's practice is a pure negation of the free market mechanism.

It can be said that the interference of the India government in the free market mechanism has aroused severe criticism from the international community.

He said that India produced 32 million 500 thousand bales of cotton this year, an increase of 10% over the previous fiscal year.

However, he added that the India government amended the earlier notice (December 16, 2010), distorting the free market mechanism.

According to the amendment of India, the cotton export contract must be registered before the shipment. At the same time, the customs can only clear the Customs after verifying the registered contract.

He said that this is a satire. The Ministry of Commerce and industry of India has informed that the registration form of cotton exports will be notified once the number of remaining cotton that has not been exported has been determined.

APTMA chairman said that the sudden intervention of the India government resulted in 1 million bales of cotton stored by Pakistan importers in India. Before the controversial announcement, they had signed contracts with India cotton exporters.

He said the controversial notice had prevented India cotton exporters from signing contracts with cotton importers in Pakistan.

APTMA president pointed out that the India government's support for the domestic textile industry procurement of cotton, resulting in India farmers at least 30% lower than the international market price.

He said that in addition to other subsidies, India's technology renewal fund plan and the subsidized investment of hundreds of billions of rupees for the textile industry have led the EU to impose anti-dumping duties on India.

The latest free market mechanism intervention is cotton trade, which may also lead to similar measures taken by the European Union and the United States for India products.

For the greater interests of the two Asian textile powers, President APTMA also appealed to the Pakistan and India governments to give priority to the issue. For the bilateral economic and trade interests of the two countries, India shipped the remaining cotton to Pakistan as soon as possible.
