It is understood that Shanghai and JE Liang biological materials Co., Ltd. and Shanghai green plastic Biotechnology Co., Ltd. under the leadership of Tongji University professor and doctoral tutor Ren Jie, combined with Shanghai and Zhejiang related universities, research institutes, textile enterprises, successfully produced polylactic acid as raw material.

And its series of underwear and environmental protection bags have formed our own intellectual property rights.

It has been put on trial in World Expo, Shanghai, and has been favored by tourists.

What is polylactic acid environmental textiles?

Biomass material polylactic acid is made from lactic acid bacteria, which is made from cassava, sweet sorghum and other non grain crops, straw and straw and other agricultural wastes.

Polylactic acid fiber is made from polylactic acid resin regular spinning process. Its physical properties are close to nylon and polyester. Its permeability and handle are better than polyester. It is not easy to have static electricity. It has good biocompatibility and comfort. It can be made into multifilament, monofilament, short fiber, knitted fabric, nonwovens and so on. It can be used as underwear, baby diapers, sanitary articles for women, jackets and socks, and medical textiles such as doctors, nurses, patients wearing surgical gowns, protective clothing, surgical covering cloth and bed sheets.

Because the raw material comes from pure nature, it has the advantages of anti allergy, easy washing and loose and loose clothing. The underwear made of this material is like the second layer skin of human body.

The underwear made of polylactic acid fiber has the advantages of loose comfort, breathability, moisture absorption and sweat absorption. Compared with the traditional polypropylene and polyester non-woven bags, the non-woven environmental protection bag made of polylactic acid fiber has the characteristics of biodegradable and environment-friendly, and can replace plastic bags and paper bags.

The invention of biological polylactic acid will open up the green industrial chain.

According to the introduction, polylactic acid and traditional petroleum based plastics have comparable or similar performance and hygienic properties. After completing their functions, polylactic acid can be degraded rapidly into natural environment and can be easily broken or broken by environment. It will completely decompose into two carbon dioxide and water over time and finally return to nature.

The popularization and application of polylactic acid is a typical low carbon product facing the "three rural issues", replacing non renewable fossil resources, alleviating "white pollution" and "greenhouse effect".

Of all the materials that can be used as biomass plastics, polylactic acid has the greatest potential for development.

On the one hand, because of the easy availability of raw materials and easy large-scale intensive production, more importantly, polylactic acid products have excellent physical properties and plasticity, so that polylactic acid products can completely replace traditional petroleum based plastics in most of the fields.

In addition, because L- lactic acid is the active ingredient of human body, polylactic acid products are nontoxic to the human body. They are not excluded and can be absorbed by human body. They can be used for medical department of orthopedics materials and drug carriers and are used safely in the human body.

At present, polylactic acid has become a global investment hotspot.

It is estimated that in the 2009-2012 year, with the development of the cost of polylactic acid approaching the development of traditional plastics and market applications, the popularity of polylactic acid will enter the peak period, and the construction of polylactic acid will start in the world.
