Guangdong Household Textile Inspection Rate Of Less Than 80%
Guangdong quality and Technology Supervision Bureau recently sampled 202 batches of household textile products produced by 102 enterprises, with 154 batches of qualified products. The qualified rate of sampling batch is 76.2%.
This sampling product involves bedding, towels and blankets.

The qualified rate of sampling is 77.8% for pillow, cushion products and matching bedding, and the qualified rate of towel sampling is 60%.

The sampling rate of chemical wool like blankets and Raschel blankets was 83.3%.
The main unqualified items were fiber content, product identification, pH value, color fastness and formaldehyde content.
The spot checks found 28 batches.
Product fiber
The unqualified items are mainly reflected in the following two aspects: first, the measured fiber content is not consistent with the marked value, for example, a product is labeled "100% cotton (except for satin stalls and decorative parts)". The measured results are "56.1% cotton, 43.9% polyester fiber (except satin and decorative parts"), and two is the label of fiber content.

The reason is that there is no full neutralization or washing of products in the production process of textile raw material production enterprises.

The reason is that the production enterprises have purchased products that are not strict in dyeing process or use inferior dyestuffs as raw materials.
Spot checks also found that the name of Shenzhen fragrant dream home decoration Co., Ltd. produced a batch of "Tian Mei" leisure pillow pillow formaldehyde content exceeded.
