Pony Company Will Adopt PPG Sports Shoes Paint Spray System.
Santiago, USA, the global sports shoe enterprise Pony international has announced that it will cooperate with PPG Industrial Company to develop and provide the latest coating system technology and products for its core product sports shoes, making Pony shoes the top in the footwear competition market under the cooperation of PPG.
According to the cooperation agreement between the two sides, PPG will adopt the VIVAFLEX color system to build a world sports shoes paint spray Center for Pony.
"The cooperation between the two sides will mainly focus on the high-performance coatings system products in the field of sports shoes manufacturing, to ensure that the Pony footwear products have better quality. At the same time, the two sides will try to cooperate in the design field, making use of the powerful PPG coating technology development capability to provide the possibility for the design of Pony new products."
Pony sports marketing manager ColinBrickley said, "at present, the VIVAFLEXcolor color system provided by PPG will be applied in the shoe making industry of Pony. We know that this color system has already achieved success in automobile manufacturing, building engineering and aerospace industry."
The VIVAFLEX color system is applied to the softest materials on sports shoes, such as synthetic leather, ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer (EVA), polyurethane (PU) and thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU). It can not only provide pleasing and dazzling colors, but also ensure a consistent and stable appearance.
It is understood that at present, PPG has a VIVAFLEX color system spraying center in China, and has also become a base for PPG to display its application expertise in the sports shoes industry.
