The agreement is scheduled to be signed on October 17th and 18 this year at the summit meeting of heads of state held in Mexico TuxtlaGutierrez.

Since there is a consensus on both sides, the FTA negotiations will be speeded up and integrated into the three FTA of Mexico and Central America as a "free trade agreement between Mexico and Central America".

Mexico has signed "Mexico and FTA" with Costa Rica, and has signed "Mexico and FTA" with Nicaragua, and has signed the "Mexico and Central America FTA" with the Three Kingdoms (the so-called North Triangle), and most of the agreements have been implemented for more than 10 years.

All countries

A large number of exports are the biggest beneficiaries.

Central America has great potential for development in Mexico. There are 38 million consumers in Central America. In 2010, total imports amounted to US $50 billion, Mexico accounted for only 8% of imports, bilateral trade amounted to US $65 billion, and Mexico enjoyed five Central American countries.

A huge sum

Balance of trade surplus.

Take Salvatore as an example, Mexico exports to Salvatore $500 million a year, mainly in cars, auto parts, gasoline, chemical products, LCD TV, avocado, white jade rice and medicine.

Salvatore exported only $60 million to Mexico.

Spin

Products, mineral water, carbonated drinks, cartons, toilet paper, industrial plastics and pharmaceuticals are the main products.

Salvatore's Ministry of economic affairs pointed out that the FTA will accelerate business circulation and investment, and SMEs will also benefit from the reduction of paction costs.
