Shoe City Vendors Were Accused Of Selling UGG&Nbsp; Taobao Shopkeeper Was Sued.

Yao Cheng, a vendor of shoe city in Dahongmen, was accused of selling snow boots with fake UGG trademarks for a year and a half.

Prosecutors charged that between July 2009 and January 2011, Yao had sold 11249 pairs of fake UGG brand snow boots in Dahongmen shoe city, Fengtai District, amounting to more than 147.7 yuan.

In January 20th of this year, Yao was seized and found 1275 pairs of fake UGG shoes in his warehouse, valued at over 9.9 yuan.

Yao said he only sold more than 700 pairs of fake UGG snow boots, including snow boots without UGG logo.

He bought these shoes from Wenzhou and sold them to acquaintances only, including 3 Taobao stores.

It is reported that Yao was arrested for being a shopkeeper of a Taobao shop.

The shop owner was arrested by the public security department for selling fake UGG, and two other Taobao shopkeepers were also arrested.

At present, the above cases are under trial.
