The official website of the Ministry of foreign trade and economic cooperation recently issued a notice on the cancellation of passive quota restrictions on the export of some products, and officially announced the changes in the categories of the quota restrictions and related management measures.
The notice also pointed out that since January 1, 2002, Turkey has cancelled the quota quota for the first phase and the second stage integrated list of its exports to China's textiles and clothing supervision institutions to the world trade organization. The United States, the European Union, Canada and Turkey have abolished the quota restrictions on products exported to China in the third stage integrated list, which is reported to the WTO's textiles and clothing supervision institutions.
Among them, some quota categories in the United States and Canada only cancel the quota quota of products under the category HS classification code, and retain the quota limits of the products under the other HS classification codes.
On the same day that the quota is restricted, whether the goods are still subject to quota restrictions when shipped from our country, the importing country customs will no longer inspect the export licence of textiles and clothing products that have been abolished quota restrictions or the import license of textiles.
From January 1st next year, the United States will cancel the licensing management of some textiles and garments that are not subject to quota restrictions, and the licensing authorities will immediately stop issuing licences for the export of these products since the date of cancellation.
In the first phase, the second stage and the third phase of the integrated products announced by the European Union and the WTO to the textiles and clothing supervision institution of Turkey, some of the categories of products do not impose quota restrictions on China, but our country still needs to produce the textile origin certificate when exporting these products.
This restriction will also be abolished from December 11th this year and January 1st next year.
