Exports Of Textile Products In India Rise

In 2008-09 fiscal year to 2010-11 fiscal year, India textile and clothing products export revenue reached US $70 billion 500 million.

The export target for 2008-09 fiscal year to fiscal year 2010-11 is US $52 billion 40 million.

No export was set in fiscal year 2009-10.

The India government introduced several export promotion measures in the federal budget of fiscal year 2011-12 and foreign trade policies in fiscal year 2009-14, including incentives based on the focus market plan and focused product plan.
