A sample of 300 products produced by 300 enterprises in 12 provinces and cities was inspected. According to the requirements of the national standard for textile products basic safety technical specifications GB 18401-2003 and the express quality indicators of products, 10 items including formaldehyde content, decomposable aromatic amine dye, fiber content, pH value and color fastness were tested.

After inspection, 266 products met the requirements of the standard, and 34 products were not qualified. The main quality problems were that the content of fiber was not consistent, the color fastness was not up to standard, 2 products were banned with azo dyes in the spot checks, and the formaldehyde content of 1 products exceeded the standard.

Today, quality and safety are full of worries. In the first quarter of 2012, the AQSIQ conducted a national supervision and inspection on casual wear products according to the plan, and published this year's International Day for Protecting Consumers Rights in the State Administration of quality supervision, inspection and Quarantine on the website of the General Administration of quality supervision, inspection and quarantine in March 15th.

The unqualified products detected by the center: "Bai Weiman trousers" produced by Beijing Bai Weiman Garments Co., Ltd., its color fastness to dry cleaning (standard value: color change is equal to or equal to 3-4 grade, stain level is more than 3-4 grade / measured value: color change grade 4, stain 1-2 grade), it does not meet the requirements.

In response to the results of this sampling inspection, AQSIQ has instructed relevant provincial and municipal quality and technology supervision departments to deal with the production enterprises that failed to spot checks on the basis of laws and regulations.

In the next stage of work, the quality inspection department will further carry out quality supervision over auto parts according to law, Intensify Investigation and treatment of unqualified product manufacturers, and urge enterprises to fulfill their main responsibilities and promote them.
