Textile Industry: Solving Three Problems And Four Contradictions

The China Federation of textile industry held the third second annual meeting and the 2012 mid year working conference in Nanjing, Jiangsu.

Nearly 200 delegates from all over the country, including directors, local textile associations, associations and professional associations, attended the meeting.

First, the conference discussed and analyzed the current situation.

The economic situation.

The information statistics department, the Ministry of industry, the cotton textile association, the chemical fiber Association and the knitting Association introduced the operation of the industry in the first half of the year, analyzed and predicted the operation trend in the second half of the year, and reported the countermeasures and key work to be taken against the severe situation.

The meeting held that the overall operation of the textile industry is stable, but the situation is more severe, which is manifested in the overall slowdown in production, sales and investment. Especially the export situation is grim and the efficiency of enterprises has declined.

However, the operation of the upstream and downstream industries of the industry chain is not balanced. The front end of the chemical fiber and cotton textile industry is more serious and the benefits are obviously declining.

The three major industries of home textiles and industry are running well, and output value and profit remain relatively fast.

Then, 10 representatives from key industries in different industries, respectively, reported the operation of enterprises in the first half of the year, and focused on the successful experience and work experience of their respective enterprises in strategic planning, product development, enterprise management, brand building and so on, which gave us a lot of inspiration.

The main problems existing in the textile industry are analyzed from three aspects: the continuous expansion of cotton price at home and abroad, and the increasing pressure on the international competition of textile industry.

This paper focuses on the four outstanding contradictions existing in the textile industry: the pressure of labor cost and other factors of production is increasing, the differentiation of business efficiency is obvious, the industrial and trade benefits of the upstream and downstream industries are not balanced, and the difference between enterprises in terms of ownership and regional enterprises is obvious.

President Wang stressed that the textile industry in the second half of the year is still grim. "Steady growth and structural adjustment" is still the main keynote of the industry.

All industries should establish their own positioning and do well in targeted work.

Efforts should be made to increase the intensity of product mix adjustment, expand domestic and foreign markets, strengthen enterprise management and enhance the ability to resist risks, actively explore and promote resource allocation in pnational, p regional and inter industry sectors, accelerate pformation and upgrading, innovate business models, strengthen social responsibility building, and build a harmonious relationship between public and private enterprises.

The conference voted on the change of the staff of the four Federation directors and executive directors units, and four of them were successfully passed.
