"Strait Cup" Industrial Design Competition Officially Started

< p > by the Fujian economic and Trade Commission, the Quanzhou municipal government, the China Industrial Design Association and the Taiwan visual communication art society, the 2013 "Strait Cup" Fujian (Jinjiang) industrial design competition was officially launched.

< p > the entries of this competition include the high degree of correlation with light industry products, textile and clothing, building materials decoration, machinery and equipment, photoelectric information, polymer new materials and other industries, and have forward-looking industrial design works.

< p > reporter learned from the Fujian provincial economic and Trade Commission that the purpose of this competition is to explore and display excellent design works, inspire creative inspiration of manufacturing enterprises, build a platform for integration of industrial design and traditional manufacturing industry, promote the real pformation and deep development of creative design results, and gather industrial and design institutions and talents at home and abroad to support the development of Fujian industrial design.

< p > in addition, in order to accelerate the pformation of the mode of economic development and the pformation and upgrading of manufacturing industry, we should focus on encouraging entries based on low carbon, green and environmental design concepts.

< p > the competition sets up two groups, namely professional group and amateur group, and selects gold, silver, bronze and shortcut works respectively.

According to the schedule, the deadline for entries for entries is July 15th, and the finalists in early August are publicly displayed at the Jinjiang International Industrial Design Park. In September, the final awards will be selected through final assessment and defense.
