In July 2nd, in the National Geographic Society of Washington, Peter, aged 8, stood beside the exhibits of 10512 shoes. All shoes are tiptoes arranged on the heel and tied together by shoelaces, forming a 2651.7 meter long "shoe chain". Peter was a participant in the event. He mobilized his family, his classmates and his pediatrician to collect 509 shoes.
