After British Permira sold Valentino to the Qatari royal family at a price of 720 million euros in 2012, it sold the Italian MCS We the People brand again. This outdoor brand of men's and women's clothing highlighting the characteristics of American jeans was founded in 1987, and its name was Marlboro Classics at that time.


  



 


Emerisque Brands Investment Fund, headquartered in the United States, has invested in many international brands, including Lee Cooper, Hickey Freeman, Hart Schaffner Marx, Bobby Jones, Jack Nicklaus, Exclusively Misook, Christopher Blue, Palm Beach, Sansabelt And Monarchy, etc.


Emerisque Group has been looking for an Italian brand with development prospects in emerging markets such as China, Russia, India and the Middle East.


MCS We the People brand has successfully entered 40 countries, including Italy, France, Eastern Europe, Northern Europe, Hong Kong and the Middle East. At present, there are 1400 sales outlets, including 300 stores and counters.


The turnover of MCS in 2012 was 110 million euros, lower than 125 million euros in 2011.
