Fujian

The reporter learned from the Fuzhou customs that since August 1st, the export tax rebate policy has been adjusted in Fujian, and the export scale of the export tax rebate products has been markedly enlarged, and textile and clothing exports have obviously recovered.

According to Fuzhou customs statistics, in 8-10 months, the export export tax rebate of Fujian increased 1 billion 633 million US dollars, an increase of 13.2%, accounting for 75.6% of the total export tax rebate exports in the same period, 518 million US dollars in textile exports, 46.4% growth, and 8 million US dollars in bamboo products exports, a substantial increase of 97.9%.

But what is noteworthy is that the other main factors, such as the continued appreciation of the renminbi, the rising cost of raw materials and labor prices, and the weakness of the external demand market, have not been fundamentally improved due to the slowdown in exports.

Especially with the continuous expansion of the financial crisis in the United States, the consumer confidence index of developed countries has declined sharply, and import demand has dropped. Our textile and garment exports still face greater pressure, and the textile and garment industry still needs to work hard.
