The National Cotton Production Situation Analysis Meeting And Expert Work Will Be Held.

The cotton production situation analysis conference and the Ministry of agriculture cotton expert guidance group working conference was held in Xinjiang Bayinguoleng Mongolia Autonomous Prefecture recently.

Ouyang Ming, deputy director of the Department of crop management, Ministry of agriculture, and academician of the Chinese Academy of engineering, and 11 experts from the Institute of cotton research, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, and representatives from various provinces and cities in China, have made in-depth exchanges on cotton production.

Participants attended the demonstration site of the cotton picking machine at Das village, Xingping Township, Yuli County.

During this period, the national light cotton picking cotton on-site observation meeting was held. Participants went into the cotton field to see and observed the picking and sorting of two light cotton pickers and seed cotton pretreatment machines recommended by the Cotton Research Institute of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences.

At the exchange meeting, the participants exchanged in-depth views on the cotton production situation, and the relevant representatives of agriculture in Tianjin, Hebei, Anhui and other places communicated the cotton planting situation around the country.

Mao Shuchun, a researcher at the Cotton Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, said that the meeting was mainly aimed at the new situation and new problems of cotton production, and put forward new ideas and solutions; summarize the cotton yield per unit area this year and analyze and discuss the current cotton prices and markets.
