In June 28th, the signing ceremony of the agreement was signed at the international exchange center of Wuhan Textile University. Du Kewei, director of the Sino foreign cultural exchange center of the Ministry of education and Peng Yuyuan, President of Wuhan Textile University, respectively signed the formal signing of the two sides, and launched the first Chinese and foreign humanities and Communication Research Institute in Wuhan. Peng Yuyuan delivered a speech at the signing ceremony. He pointed out that cultural exchanges and strategic mutual trust and economic and trade cooperation have become the three pillars of China's external relations and an important force to promote the healthy development of bilateral and multilateral relations. At the same time, cultural exchange between China and foreign countries is also an important part of improving the level of internationalization and promoting "double first class" construction. Relying on and giving full play to the advantages of colleges and universities, actively promoting the cooperation of industry, University and research, providing technical support and talent training for Chinese enterprises to "go out", is an important measure to integrate into the national education open door policy and the "one belt and one road" strategy. He hoped that in the future, with the guidance and support of the Ministry of education and the humanities exchange center, we will build a sustainable development platform for the three party cooperation between the government, universities and enterprises through the joint establishment of the Chinese and foreign humanities and communication research institutes in the textile industry.

Du Kewei fully affirmed the great amount of work done by the school in the early planning and preparation process of the Chinese and foreign humanities and communication research institutes in the textile industry. He warmly congratulated the Ministry of education on Humanities and communication center and Wuhan Textile University jointly established the Chinese and foreign humanities and Communication Research Institute in the textile industry.
