In July 25th, the Swiss luxury leather brand Bally announced that the Peak Outlook project team sent by the group had cleared 2 tons of rubbish from Mount Qomolangma.

More than half of the rubbish comes from the "dead zone" above 8000 meters above sea level. With the efforts of the project team, the rubbish at the top of Mount Everest and the surrounding areas of Mount Everest headquarters has been completely recovered and restored to the past.

This spring, the Peak Outlook project was officially launched. The group is made up of professional mountaineers and alpine guides in the Himalaya mountains, and is led by mountaineers and Dawa Steven Sherpa, a mountain environmental promoter. In May 21st, the Group officially reached the summit of Mount Everest.

Bally and Mount Everest are deep in origin: in May 29, 1953, one of the two top climbers in Mount Qomolangma was Tenzing Norgay, who climbed to the top in a pair of Bally boots made of Reindeer-Himalaya. In this operation, his son Jamling Tenzing Norgay also joined the Peak Outlook team.

Jamling Tenzing Norgay is very proud: "in such a high altitude, such a harsh environment for heavy clean-up work is not everyone can complete the task. With the efforts of the group, the headquarters area of Mount Everest was finally cleared for the first time. In the eyes of the local Sherpas, the mountains are sacred. We never climb mountains with any purpose. This is just a way of life. "

There are more and more global climbers to challenge Mount Everest, and because of the bad environment, there is no corresponding garbage disposal facilities. Therefore, the environmental pollution in mountain areas is becoming more and more serious. Plastic bags, aluminum cans and damaged mountaineering equipment can be seen everywhere. Cleaning up the Mount Everest is also imminent.

Nicolas Girotto, chief executive of Bally, said Mount Qomolangma played a very important role in the development of the brand. Bally is responsible for maintaining the environment of Mount Everest without any monetary interests, without considering the profitability, and doing something in her power for her. The Peak Outlook project has promoted the sustainable development of the group. Although the road ahead is long, they will still stick to it.

In May this year, Bally chief operating officer Nicolas Girotto was promoted to the news of the brand CEO.

In order to promote the Peak Outlook project and make people better protect the environment, Bally has also introduced a T-shirt made of organic cotton. The T-shirt says "No Mountain High Enough (no fear of danger)", priced at $130, all sales proceeds will be used as Peak Outlook project funding. Author: white feather plus
