Global Information: One Third Of Turkey'S Textile Exports To Europe

TRT News reported on the 21st that Turkey's textile industry exported US $5.509 billion in the first seven months of this year, of which US $2.09 billion was exported to Europe, accounting for 38.1% of total exports, according to the Turkish Exporters Conference (TIM). The chairman of TIM Textile and Raw Material Industry Committee Kelaji said that the textile industry is one of the important industries of Turkey, which is the fifth largest textile export country in the world. The local textile industry has provided 1.2 million jobs for the country, accounting for 24% of the employment in the local manufacturing industry, and plays an important role in economic development.
