As the construction of the "Belt and Road" continues to deepen, the China Central and Eastern Europe cooperation mechanism established since 2012 has become increasingly mature, and cooperation in all fields has made considerable progress. In the face of the current weak recovery of the global economic situation and the increasingly complex world political pattern, as an important hub to connect the Eurasian continent, Central and Eastern European countries not only provide support for China to tap the potential of the international market and optimize the industrial structure, but also play an indispensable role in the connectivity between China and Europe, Asia and Europe, and also for the "Belt and Road" The further cooperation between China and the European market under the framework of the initiative has laid a solid foundation.
Poland is the sixth largest economy in the EU, ranking first in Central and Eastern European countries in terms of economic aggregate, foreign trade, and attracting foreign investment. Poland is China's largest trading partner in Central and Eastern Europe, and textile and clothing trade is an important part of economic cooperation between the two countries. It is planned that 120 exhibitions will be held next year, with new themes focusing on new technology, environmental protection, renewable energy and recycling. It is planned to attract 2000 Chinese exhibitors. Mr. Kazimierz Cwikla is particularly proud of the hardware facilities and technology applications of the exhibition hall. Ptak Warsaw Expo has adopted a series of cutting-edge systems and solutions to optimize venue operations. The application of these technologies has brought multiple advantages, such as improving operational efficiency, strengthening security, simplifying communication processes, and giving greater flexibility in event planning and implementation.
Visit FAST TEXTILE
Mr. Kazimierz Cwikla specially accompanied the working group to visit the FAST TEXTILE exhibition site. He introduced that FAST TEXTILE, held from November 19 to 21, is the largest and most professional textile and clothing exhibition in Central and Eastern Europe. The exhibition is held once a year, and this year is the tenth. Mr. Kazimierz Cwikla also said that in view of the advantages of the textile industry in Rhodes, the exhibition will be held in November 2025 in the Rhodes Pavilion of PTAK Group.
Work talk with PATK group personnel
Mr. Kazimierz Cwikla accompanied the working group to Rhodes City for work talks with Mr. Adam Scibor, Manager of the International Department of PTAK Group. Adam Scibor introduced that PTAK Group is one of the top ten private enterprises in Poland. It started in the textile industry in Lodz and has become the most powerful and professional trade and exhibition group in the textile industry in Poland. Rhodes was once one of the European textile industry centers due to its superior geographical location and local economic development. At the beginning of the 21st century, with the modernization of Poland's textile industry, Lodz is not only a hub of garment factories, but also a cluster garment base integrating garment design, exhibition and logistics, becoming a fashion center in Central and Eastern Europe.
PTAK FASHION CITY, located in the suburb of Rhodes, is a commercial complex, which is comprehensively transformed and upgraded on the basis of the original largest PTAK wholesale center in Europe, integrating wholesale and retail functions, exhibition functions, trend publishing functions, entertainment and leisure functions. PTAK Fashion City is composed of a wholesale center (Ptak Wholesale Center), a retail market (Ptak Market), a brand of Ptak Outlet, an indoor amusement park (Mandoria), and an exhibition hall (Ptak Expo). The area of brand outlets is 19000 square meters, with 100 global brands, and the price is 30-70% of that of exclusive stores. The retail market covers an area of 1000 square meters, with some well-known retail chains in Europe. Indoor amusement park is the largest indoor theme park in Europe. The wholesale center is the main body of PTAK Fashion City, the leading trade center in Poland and even Europe, radiating the entire European market. Founded in 1993, it has a history of 31 years, covers an area of 250000 square meters, has 2000 garment manufacturers and importers in Poland, and 4000 buyers come to purchase every day, of which 73.2% are Polish buyers,. Foreign buyers (Belarus, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Germany, Romania, etc.) accounted for 26.8%. This kind of direct sales between manufacturers, importers and purchasers reduces the sales cost and price of products, making products more competitive. PTAK Fashion City has become a complex business district that meets different consumption levels, different consumption forms and different consumption ages.
Visit Ptak Wholesale Center&Expo
Accompanied by Mr. Kazimierz Cwikla and Mr. Adam Scibor, the working group visited the Ptak Wholesale Center and the Ptak Expo.
The environment of Ptak Wholesale Center is very clean and orderly. The products are mainly fashion clothing and accessories, and the categories are complete. The complete supporting facilities of the center also reflect the concept of providing promotion for sellers and convenient services for buyers.
The total area of Ptak Expo is 25000 square meters, mainly for holding clothing exhibitions, forums, trends and other activities. The facilities of the exhibition hall are modern, and the booths are relatively fixed according to the area. The exhibition hall has held 3 textile exhibitions before. Next year, it is planned to hold LINGRIE TRENDS from March 4-6, SHOES&BAGS TRENDS from March 25-27, FAST TEXTILE FABRICE from April 8-10, and FAST TEXTILE in November. The underwear exhibition and fabric exhibition are the first of their kind next year. Mr. Adam Scibor hopes that Chinese enterprises can actively participate in them.
The working group had an overall understanding of Poland's textile and clothing supply chain, business environment, market demand and other information through visits to research exhibitions and professional markets. If Chinese enterprises want to explore new markets in Central and Eastern Europe, the exhibition platform is an optional way.
