Recently, the new book release conference of "Fashion Awakening: 30 Golden Years of China's Clothing Industry" sponsored by Donghua University Press was held at the 37th Beijing Book Ordering Fair.
The book Fashion Awakening: 30 Golden Years of China's Clothing Industry was written by Tan An, the winner of the "China Fashion Design Lifetime Achievement Award". This book is illustrated with pictures and texts, deeply focusing on the 30 key issues of China's clothing industry in the golden decade, and providing insight into the development trajectory and hidden mysteries of the industry in this golden age. The theory and practice complement each other. It is not only a summary and reflection of China's clothing industry, but also a reproduction of the thinking methods used by the industry in the process of exploration, practice and innovation.

Tan An shared the theme at the press conference. He said that the book not only engraved the practice exploration and thought change of China's clothing industry in the golden decade, but also deeply explored the path of innovative development of the fashion industry. He recalled that in the early days of reform and opening up, China's clothing industry faced many challenges, but in constant exploration, it gradually realized the industry development model led by clothing, as well as the development strategy of integrating the information technology route and the information art route. Tan An stressed that the information art route is not only applicable to the clothing industry, but also can be extended to all manufacturing industries, as well as cultural tourism industry, sports industry, sightseeing agriculture, environmental protection industry and other fields. At the same time, he put forward the methodology of circular thinking, emphasizing that everything in the universe follows the rule of "being circular", which runs through the whole book and opens a new cognitive perspective for readers.
Zhao Jinjun, the former president of the Foreign Affairs College, Li Dangqi, the former president of the Academy of Fine Arts of Tsinghua University and the chairman of the China Fashion Designers Association, Hua Mei, the former president of the Academy of Fine Arts and Design of Tianjin Normal University, Zhang Zhaoda, the former vice president of the China Fashion Designers Association, and Dr. Liu Zundong, the director of intelligent manufacturing engineering of Shandong Binzhou Joyful Home Textile Co., Ltd., shared themes. They said that many of the ideas in the book are of great significance in promoting the innovation and development of China's fashion industry. As a person who has experienced the development of the clothing industry, Tan An's "Hehe Culture" takes clothing as the carrier, making clothing a distinctive cultural symbol at the beginning of reform and opening up. Today, the values contained in China's "harmony culture" are widely praised around the world, and clothing culture is just the spiritual and material link connecting the world to create a better life.
At the event site, ten designers Fang Ying, Liang Mingyu, Liu Wei, Liu Yang, Liu Lili, Lv Yue, Wang Xinyuan, Wu Haiyan, Wu Jianying and Zhang Zhaoda designed cultural and creative products such as T-shirts and bags with ingenuity according to this book; Led by Wang Guihua and Lunasha, the first top ten models in China, the models made a stunning appearance in creative cultural shirts to show their fashion style.
At the end of the activity, Donghua University Press signed a cooperation agreement with Joy Group, Jifa Group and Yantai Qiyuan Qipao Museum.
