Secondly, garment enterprises should upgrade their raw materials.

Some clothing enterprises began to adopt low carbon fabrics, and new environment-friendly fabrics such as bamboo fiber, soybean fiber and milk fiber fabrics have been widely used in clothing.

According to the introduction, in addition to responding to the call of the state, these low carbon fabrics also have their advantages.

Spring and summer clothing especially emphasize fabric's comfort and feel, and bamboo fiber, soybean fiber and milk fiber fabric can meet this requirement.

Faced with the concept of low carbon economy and the growing consumption of clothing, China's clothing capital Guangdong Humen town clothing industry is playing the "low carbon" brand.


Third, advocate recycling clothes.

From March 5th to 26, Levis launched a 200 yuan reduction campaign.

The event is not limited to brand, color and quantity. Any old jeans should be purchased from Levis special store to buy the designated levis jeans to be reduced by 200 yuan. All the old jeans will be donated to charity.

Many enterprises also carry out the old change of the new activities, recycling their own brand of clothing products, so that consumers in the hands of the lost value of clothing can be recycled and reused.

Fourth, fake low carbon, just play the idea.

Some clothing companies are just playing the idea of low carbon without actual action, whether R & D, raw material procurement and production control remain at the previous level.

Many people in charge of garment factories say: low carbon is a concept. Since the idea is what big companies are doing, small businesses can only be flags.

In the aspect of clothing sales, when facing customers, many shop assistants are advocating that their clothing materials are environmentally-friendly and do some false propaganda.

These means require consumers to identify and guard themselves.


Experts say that these 10 years from 2010 to 2020 are the new "golden ten years" development period of China's clothing industry, and China's carbon emissions will gradually decrease. Low carbon clothing will become a hot topic of attention in China's clothing industry.

In the future, clothing enterprises will no longer compare who sells the most and who sells the most expensive products, but depends on whose materials and processes are less harmful to the environment, and who has less clothing carbon emissions, so as to win the favor of consumers and gain more market share.
