The Korean Clothing Trade Company Has Suffered Heavy Losses.
According to Yonhap news, June 15th, South Korea commissioned a processing company for the DPRK garment industry to find out that according to the May 24th's "Tianan" warship's response to the DPRK, the DPRK's trade with Korea was interrupted, so the loss of Korean DPRK garment processing companies reached 130 billion won.
The Korean garment industry association and the Korean Fiber Industry Federation 15, said recently that the questionnaire survey of 42 enterprises showed that the scale of the loss caused by trade interruption between the two countries could reach 132 billion 70 million won.
The average loss of the 42 companies amounted to 3 billion 140 million won.
The companies surveyed were only about 25% of the total number of commissioned processing companies (200), excluding some large enterprises.
It is estimated that the total loss to DPRK processing companies caused by DPRK's response measures may be far more than 130 billion won.
