Zhang Xiaofeng believes that men's clothing production has a relatively simple and large number of characteristics, and women's clothing production batch, style and color, so that enterprises should be changed to women's clothing production, more difficult.

In some enterprises, since men's clothing can meet the expected profit targets and have a reputation, why do they produce small batch and tedious women's clothes? Many reasons lead to the weak voice of women's clothing brand in Ningbo.

Ningbo's earlier local women's clothing brand "Xian Dian" is positioned as a flexible woman's dress, which is exactly the same as that of the Hangzhou style clothing, such as "autumn and water people", "all over the place" and "Jiangnan cloth dress".

DENCO apparel company also launched LOVESACHET brand with French companies.

It is understood that today there are no fewer than 50 women's clothing brands in Ningbo.


Women's wear brand to improve design ability


Zhang Xiaofeng believes that compared to men's clothing, the value of women's clothing is more reflected in fashion and design, and requires more intellectual input.

Women's clothing has a fast updating speed, for example, Taiping bird will launch more than 3000 single products a year, with an average of more than 200 new styles appearing on the market every month.

But at present, Ningbo women's clothing is also facing the problems of imperfect industrial chain, lack of designers and management personnel, and high cost of clothing.

Xiang Jiangpeng, deputy general manager of Bo Yang clothing company, thinks that design is the soul of women's clothing. Ningbo women's clothing should improve their ability of independent design and development, and inject more personalized and fashionable elements into the brand. At the same time, we should change the current situation of small and small businesses, develop the regulatory model enterprises, and dare to compete with their brands in the first tier cities.


Zhang Xiaofeng said that some shopping malls in Ningbo started from their own sales and tended to be more inclined to foreign brands when entering the field.

"If you can't see the shadow of the local brand in the large shopping malls in Ningbo, it will eventually lead to the collective fall of Ningbo women's clothing."

He suggested that local shopping malls should increase their support for local brands.
