Fourteen years of military career, Qiu Zhiqiang was born in Pu village, hung Shandong.

In 1957, at the age of 19, he joined the army and became a soldier.

In the second year, the famous "823" artillery battle started. Qiu Zhiqiang went to the front line with his troops and came to Xiao Jiao island in the heroic three islands. He went through a test of life and death in the artillery fire.

In November 3, 1958, it was a very tragic day for little island.

The shells seemed to want to blow up the entire island and let it disappear into the ocean.

The communication line between Xiao Dao island and Kok Yu was destroyed by fire and interrupted by communication.

Qiu Zhiqiang volunteered to repair the line with two recruits recruited that year.

Enemy fire continued to pour on the island.

Huge waves of smoke and dust were rolling up, making people breathless.

Many lines were blown up.

Every time they fix a place, they use the telephone to test the line and try whether the whole line is repaired.

After thirty-eighth broken lines, the communication lines were all repaired.

When they appeared again in the battalion command post, they had been smoked by smoke and dust, and their faces were blinking.

Because of his outstanding performance in the artillery battle, Qiu Zhiqiang was named "six good fighters".

In 1959, Qiu Zhiqiang was admitted to Chongqing Infantry School after the army's recommended and rigorous examinations.

In the second semester of school, he used his spare time to study seriously and invented the "no need to correct the weapon calibration instrument", which was praised and praised by the military academy.

In 1961, after strict examination, Qiu Zhiqiang joined the Communist Party of China.

From then on, no matter what circumstances he was in, he was strict in accordance with the standards of Party members.

Qiu Zhiqiang returned to the army after graduation.

Later, due to outstanding performance, he was pferred to Nanchang to take part in the tactical school as a battalion instructor.

After the dissolution of the school in 1970.

Qiu Zhiqiang left the army and ended up fourteen years of military career.

After returning to the place, he served as deputy secretary and deputy director of the Party branch in the state owned Jinjiang fishery chemical plant.

He and his colleagues started business hard, producing iodine only in half a year, and received high praise from their superiors.

In 1972 he was pferred to the state Jinjiang fleet.

Qiu Zhiqiang opens the door of "intermodal pportation". In 1983, he became captain of the team.

At that time, the Shishi commodity market was active and merchants everywhere gathered in stone lions.

However, the traffic situation of Shishi is very backward. There are no other long-distance lines except Fuzhou and Xiamen two lines.

How to make Shishi's products sell well all over the country?

This question made Qiu Zhiqiang think about it for a long time, and finally decided to establish a combined pport company.

He found that although Shishi had a poor foundation on the road, it was the only way for stone lions to connect with the outside world, and there were train stations in Fuzhou and Xiamen. Can we use cars to pick up trains and roads to connect railways?

This idea made him excited, but he also knew that the railway was surnamed "iron". When the road was connected to the railway, it would be difficult for the local state-owned enterprises to connect with the central enterprises.

However, Qiu Zhiqiang believes that everything is human.

In order to find a breakthrough point, he thought of overseas Chinese.

Shishi has one hundred thousand Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan compatriots and overseas Chinese. Every year, they visit roots and visit the mainland. Can we start cooperation with the railway departments on the basis of convenient overseas Chinese tourism and opening up tourist routes, and then expand their cooperation in other areas?

After repeated studies, he persuaded some overseas Chinese to write letters to the railway department. Although many departments supported him, as a new economic consortium involving many policy issues, the railway management department was not so easy to decide.

However, Qiu Zhiqiang was not discouraged.

From FuZhou Railway Station to the Ministry of railways, he applied at the first level. After several months' hard work, the "intermodal pport" was finally finalized.

In 1985, a new and refreshing enterprise in the pportation sector was set up, namely, the Jinjiang Fujian pportation company and FuZhou Railway Station jointly established.

Qiu Zhiqiang served as executive director and general manager.

The company not only acts as a broker to handle railway baggage and parcel freight business, but also sells train tickets, which greatly reduces the customers' troubles in the process of rail pit.

After the establishment of the Rong Rong Jin Gong railway intermodal company, Qiu Zhiqiang also planned to set up the "Xiamen Jin Gong rail pport company" with XiaMen Railway Station, and completely opened the traffic bottleneck to the north and south.

After opening the door of intermodal pportation, Qiu Zhiqiang's career developed rapidly.
