"Recycled Textiles" Or Leading The Industry Trend

"Recycling of waste textiles will be a bright spot for the future industry." A few days ago, a reporter at the Symposium on green recycled textile technology and products held at Shishi was informed that in the coming years, "recycled textiles" will be one of the mainstream trends in related industries, like recycled paper and recycled plastics.

Recently, foreign textile and garment brands and sales enterprises such as UNIQLO, Adidas, Zara, H&M and Decathlon have formulated their respective garment industry chain adjustment plans and carried out GRS, Eco-cycle certification and so on.

In order to assist the textile and garment enterprises in Quanzhou to optimize the production and supply chain system of enterprises, and promote the integration of textile and garment enterprises in Quanzhou with the international standards in the field of green circular textiles, in August 18, 2019, China Textile Institute of stone lions Joint Research Institute of the China Textile Industry Federation, Quanzhou Laboratory of the China Textile Industry Federation, Shishi Hall of the national textile fabric Museum and Zhejiang beauty New Material Co., Ltd. jointly organized the "green recycling technology and product seminar" in Shishi International Textile City.

In the view of Lou Baoliang, chairman of Zhejiang beauty New Material Co., Ltd., the comprehensive utilization rate of waste textiles in China is about 15%, which is still low. The comprehensive utilization of waste textiles has great potential for development. He said: "the company's waste textile chemical high quality recycling project uses the world's first Eco CircleTM recycling system based on polyester recycling technology as the core, chemical treatment of polyester fibers in the waste clothes, completely remove colors and dyes, restore polyester raw materials, and regenerate new polyester fibers for clothing manufacturing."

He said, "recycled textiles" will usher in green development in the spring, and will lead the industry trend. "Recycled textiles are now widely used in high-end sports wear, casual wear, underwear, men and women fashion, uniforms, tooling, home textile bedding and other markets."
