Line up to load baskets, check grades, weigh and Bill... Recently, the cocoon centralized purchasing point in Xinjian town of Fenggang county is very busy, and sericulture growers bring cocoons to sell in small tricycles or minivans.
It is reported that the new town has an area of 3100 mu, with more than 600 sericulture households. Through the "branch + company + farmer" organization, the town has built more than 30 sericulture houses, and through the "one-to-one" guarantee system, the planting and breeding technology has been sent to every sericulture farmer to ensure that the farmers can plant and raise silkworms and sell them at a high price. At present, the town's villages and communities have produced 1400KG of cocoons, with an average price of 46 yuan per kilogram, effectively driving farmers to increase income.
