The Final Of The First China Italy Youth Fashion Design Competition Held In Beijing

Recently, the final of the first China Italy youth fashion design competition for the future was held in Beijing. 30 contestants competed in the Mengminwei Concert Hall of Tsinghua University.

Yang Bin, vice president of Tsinghua University, Giuliano Noci, vice president of China Affairs of Milan Polytechnic University, Mario izzi, cultural Commissioner of the Italian Embassy in China, and Ding GUI, member of the Standing Committee of Keqiao District Committee and head of organization, attended the meeting and delivered speeches.

The competition is jointly organized by Tsinghua University, Milan University of technology and Keqiao District People's government. It is mainly aimed at young innovators in fashion design field in China, Italy and the world, including three tracks of fashion design, fashion technology and fashion life. Since the launch of the competition in May this year, a total of 1331 works from 12 countries have been received, and finally 30 works have stood out and entered the final.

In November last year, the "Sino Italian Youth Innovation and entrepreneurship year" was officially launched, among which the Sino Italian youth fashion design competition for the future was one of the important activities. In April this year, Keqiao district and Tsinghua University signed an agreement to jointly build the Sino Italian future fashion innovation center. This competition is also an important part of the Sino Italian future fashion innovation center. The winners of the competition will enjoy the policy support related to "Jingwei plan", a special support plan for fashion creative talents in our district.

It is reported that the awarding ceremony of China Italy youth future fashion design competition will be held on October 26 at the opening of the 10th Keqiao fashion week in 2021.
