Ministry Of Commerce: Uzbekistan To Hold International Cotton Conference In 2024
Uzbekistan's world news agency reported on October 7 that from October 4 to 7, Uzbek Minister of innovation and development Abdallah hmanov led a delegation to Cairo, Egypt, to attend the Seventh World Cotton Research Conference (wcrc). The meeting elected abdelakhmanov as an adviser to the International Association of cotton scientists (ICRC). It was decided that the next Congress would be held in Uzbekistan in 2024.
It is understood that the world cotton research conference and the international cotton Scientists Association were initiated and established by the International Cotton Advisory Committee (ICAC), with its headquarters in Washington, D.C. The International Association of cotton scientists aims to promote global cotton research cooperation and to host the world cotton research conference. China is also a member of the association, and Dong Hezhong, director of Shandong Cotton Research Center, serves as a member of the association.
